I designed CarFleetTools.com specifically for the needs of Turo Hosts. I am a former CPA and I’ve designed the accounting system to be super intuitive so that you do not need to learn accounting to keep track of your fleet business. I know it is easy to keep track of a fleet with only 2-5 cars, but, when you get close to 10 cars… especially when you get 12-15 cars… the burden of tracking expenses and maintenance items becomes much more challenging.
I am especially pleased with the Maintenance Tracking system. Being able to track major and minor maintenance needs by Vehicle is critical. Being able to see up- coming maintenance by Vehicle and by Category and by Priority Level makes it much easier to manage and predict maintenance expenses and future cash flow needs.
I also like to generate Vehicle Reports where I can see all Revenues, Expenses and Capital Expenditures on each Vehicle. I like being able to see which Vehicles are my most profitable and also see what kinds of common expenses arise across the different Makes and Models in my fleet. Vehicle Reports help me know when a Vehicle is actually about to recover all of its original, and ongoing, investment.
